About the Role
The Dishwasher at Muriale's Italian Kitchen plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen by ensuring that all dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware are properly cleaned and sanitized. They operate commercial dishwashing equipment, following proper dishwashing techniques and food safety guidelines. The Dishwasher is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, as well as assisting with kitchen cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and cleaning kitchen equipment.
In addition to their primary dishwashing duties, the Dishwasher may be asked to assist with other tasks, such as unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, or helping with basic food preparation tasks. The Dishwasher works closely with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation and a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment at Muriale's Italian Kitchen.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
No formal education is required, but previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, including proper dishwashing techniques.
